Divorce is Messy and Painful, but We’ll Help You Get Through It.
When couples get married, they expect to live a happy life. They might even fantasize about the perfect “happily ever after” life together with no problems and no fighting…
…then life happens!
Every couple has disagreements. Some are just impossible for you to get past.
You may not see eye to eye on how the children should be raised. The sex may not be right and no matter what you do you can’t fix the problem. Someone may have been unfaithful. Maybe you hit a rough patch financially and you can’t come together to fix it. Sometimes, one spouse is being abusive. Sometimes, both are.
None of us are perfect. We do stupid and bad things sometimes. We might even create problems for ourselves that lead to divorce.
Nobody who gets married expects to get a divorce. Together we are going to deal with the cards you’ve been dealt and bring you to a better place.
But you may be wondering what it will be like to have me on your side in the courtroom. What kind of an attorney am I?
I will take the high road and I will fight hard.
A lot of attorneys, and their clients, might do some shady stuff during a divorce case. Some people are just unethical and will do anything and say anything to get what they want.
Sometimes clients think they want a bulldog on their side. I fight like a bulldog when I need to. It’s not always necessary. At times, an aggressive representation just escalates matters for no reason.
Let’s say the other side doesn’t have an attorney and you start to fight hard right out of the gate. That might freak your spouse out and they may hire someone that behaves even more aggressively. You could end up spending a lot of money fighting.
What you really want to do is get on with your life.
I believe you can often reach your goals faster and better by taking the high road.
That means that I will not use lies about your partner to “win” the case. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
I will use the legal rules to zealously represent you, using evidence and persuasion to gain the confidence of the court and to move the case and your life forward to a better place.
